Book Post #2 Fifty Shades of Grey

Fifty Shades of Grey

So I'm sure by now everyone has heard of or read Fifty Shades of Grey. I have found that it's a bit like marmite, you either love it or you hate it. Personally, I love it! Not because of the raunchy sex scenes (although they're good too!) but because of the story behind it (yes there is one).

In the first book you get a lot of introductions and a feel for what is going to come next. Ana first meets Christian Grey and embarks on an epic love story. It has sexy scenes in it but it also has a lot of psychological issues in it. Personally when I first read Fifty Shades I wanted to punch Mr Grey not kiss him! He really annoyed me until near the end of the final book when I finally understood all of his issues and saw things from his point of view.

In the second book, Ana has made some life changing decisions and the intense, exciting relationship with Mr Grey might not be all she thought it would be. This book focuses on the differences between Ana and Christian, and the struggles they pose on an already complicated relationship.

Finally, Fifty Shades Freed rounds the story off perfectly. With a handful of disasters thrown at them, the couple are forced to deal with their worst nightmares. I'm not going to spoil the ending if you haven't read them yet, but I don't think you will be disappointed.

Fifty Shades of Grey is out in cinemas in the UK on 14th February and you can find two trailers on youtube!
